Most of us, at some point, are hopeless romantics…especially us females! And what can be more romantic than a beach wedding? Considering that the ocean is one of the most desired vacation spots in the world, (and is free with this venue!) why not combine the sea and sand with a wedding and say your vows with your toes wiggling in the sand? Beach weddings are becoming extremely popular. Some couples even opt for combining a destination wedding with a beach wedding. Many have realized that these weddings are probably the most relaxed and casual weddings that exist, yet can be the most beautiful. If you don’t have the money to fly to an exotic island and have your wedding reception in a tropical place like that, you can find many places to have a beach wedding close by and in the U.S. There are so many lovely local parks, small resorts, local hotels on the water (yes, you can have a beach wedding on a lake!) and you can also rent private property for the day which ends up costing so much less than a normal venue. And during your bridal shower, you can give out beach wedding shower favors to hint at what your upcoming wedding will be like!

Just like a traditional wedding in a reception venue, your beach wedding includes food and drinks, flowers, wedding cake, wedding favors, etc. all surrounding the beach theme of course if that’s what you desire. And the photos and video of a beach wedding are absolutely breathtaking. And if you exchange vows at sunset, the photos will be admired and cherished for years.
