What is a simple gift for a woman (mother-in-law) in her 60′s?

This will be my 2nd time meeting her. She’s tiny…about 4’10-11.” She lives in another country and is almost blind. She’s very modest in her dress, is very sweet & humble and just appreciates everything. (My own mother does not like surprises and will always TELLS us what to get her instead of just letting us do it , so I don’t know how to surprise a woman w/ a gift) Any suggestions?

Flowers, my mom in law loved the ones i got her!
If she’s nearly blind, maybe a gift she can hear or feel would be good. If she lives in a cold country, she might appreciate a soft scarf or pair of gloves. If you know what kind of music she likes, you could get her a CD or tape.
I know you say that the poor thing is almost blind, but she might like an arrangement of (however you choose to do it) pictures of family members, children, grandchildren etc….Sounds like she will appreciate the thought no matter what.
some sort of gift set/basket. like with snacks, or bath products (with a light clean scent.)
or some updated lounge ware that can be worn anywhere
You might consider giving her a day treatment at a spa. Maybe a massage and a ****** or some cool package that the day spa offers.
It is rather difficult to gift a person like her. Have a look at here. Good luck!
