What is a good gift to Ukranian woman new to USA?

My neighbor married a Ukranian woman a year ago and she is now able to come to USA to live. She has never been here before and I would like to give her a small gift of welcome and to wish her wedding congrats. I thought maybe a cookbook since she loves to cook. I have no idea what one would be good and easy for her to start experimenting with American food.
Any ideas for a small gift would be most appreciative!

Well, that’s just so nice of you! A traditional gift is a bouquet of flowers, actually, to show a welcome.
Just a thought about the cookbook – when my Ukrainian relatives came, they had a lot of trouble using our recipes because there they weigh things – they use 200 grams flour, for example. But a simple one is an okay idea.
Otherwise, just so you know, they love jewellery – so a pretty necklace, maybe, if you want it to be a personal gift.
For fun, practice saying “Welcome” in Ukrainian – sounds like this -
Vitayemo — “vih-TIE-eh-mo”. (the end sound is like the mo in “more”)
Electrolysis!!!
