Wedding Rings Sets a Symbolic Signs of a Couples Marriage

Wedding Rings Sets are symbolic symptoms of a couple’s marriage, and they should be treated with the utmost care and respect. It horrifies me how crudely some folks treat their marriage bands, and it makes me cringe a little whenever I see folk manhandle their rings in these varied ways:

Biting them
Wedding rings sets might be made from sterling gold or silver, making them tougher and more resistant to damage, but for crying out loud do NOT bite into them! The habit will eventually wear down the ring’s surface, permanently damaging them over time.

Leaving them around
Yes, toss the 18 carat gold ring on the settee. It just costs a measly thousand greenbacks. That’s just coins, and can simply get replaced in the blink of an eye, right? Not if you are a regular Joe or Jane like me.

Wearing them to the pool
Rule number one when wearing jewellery. Never EVER wear them to the pool, or in any body of water for that matter. Chlorine, salt and minute particles all work in cooperation to break down fine jewellery, and marriage rings are not exception. Take them off before taking a dip and you will not have to stress about any lasting damage.

Tossing them with other jewelry
While marriage rings sets are often tricky and sturdy, other finer jewelry are not the same. Carelessly mixing them in with other jewelry can lead to long-lived damage which will completely destroy a piece’s beauty in no time at all. Stick them in small cotton or vinyl pouches, and your jewellery won’t scratch each other senseless.
