Tips on How to Take Care of Your Wedding Rings Sets

Wedding Rings Sets are symbolic signs of a pair’s wedding, and they should be treated with the highest care and respect. It horrifies me how crudely some people treat their marriage bands, and it makes me quail a little whenever I see people manhandle their rings in these numerous ways:

Biting them
Wedding rings sets could be made from sterling gold or silver, making them tougher and more immune to damage, except for crying aloud don’t bite into them! The habit will at last wear down the ring’s surface, permanently damaging them over time.

Leaving them around
Yes, toss the 18 carat gold ring on the sofa. It just costs a measly thousand bucks. That is just loose change, and can easily be replaced in the blinking of an eye, right? Not if you’re a regular Joe or Jane like me.

Wearing them to the pool
Rule number one when wearing jewellery. Never EVER wear them to the pool, or in any body of water for what it’s worth. Chlorine, salt and minute particles all work in cooperation to break down fine jewellery, and marriage rings are not exception. Take them off before taking a dip and you won’t have to worry about any lasting damage.

Tossing them with other jewelry
While marriage rings sets are usually difficult and sturdy, other finer jewellery aren’t the same. Carelessly mixing them in with other jewellery can result in persistent damage that will completely destroy a piece’s beauty in no time at all. Put them in tiny cotton or vinyl pouches, and your jewellery won’t scratch each other senseless.
