Summer represents freedom to teenagers. It is their time to chill out and not have to worry about anything. Unfortunately, this fairy tale doesn’t last very long. Unfortunately; most teens need to get a summer job. Having a summer job doesn’t need to be such a bad thing. Getting a job in a fun environment can actually make working enjoyable. You can lead kayak tours, work the front desk or tow boat to the pick up place. Either way, you will be surrounded by fun outdoorsy people that love to have fun. You would most likely get discounts and free trips down the river, so you can family or you and friends can kayak and canoe.
Summer jobs don’t need to be dreaded by everyone. You can learn a lot from working over your summer break and have a good time as well. If you go out and get a job you know you will enjoy, you will defiantly be glad you did.
