A couple’s wedding day is planned for months, and gone in hours, which is why it is important to find the right photographer to capture every moment. Bridal websites and magazines are good sources for tips on finding photographers. Talk to your married friends for referrals, or warnings.Check out websites of local photographers. Make a list of the prices from the sites to compare. But maybe you can do more. Wedding photographers know the best way to find the right person to capture your wedding memories; here are a few tips from Stuart Cooper, a Southampton wedding photographer .

Tip 1.
The first step most couples make in their search for a photographer is to visit websites, but how do fellow photographers suggest you evaluate these photos. Take a moment to look at the brides and grooms. Do they seem similar to you in your fianc? or do they look like models?.If so, these may be models that the photographer hired. You should have serious concerns about using a photographer who does not post photos of actual weddings.

Tip 2.
Photographers can differ wildly in their style. Once you decide on the style you would like for your wedding photos, compare your vision with the presentation on the wedding photographer’s site. If you have always dreamed of classic black and white photos of you and your groom, you shouldn’t consider a photographer who focuses on bright, bold colors and faces smeared in cake.

Tip 3.
Wedding photographer’s prices differ as much as their style. Hours of coverage can significantly drive up the cost. Some photographers include all day coverage, while others merely focus on the ceremony and reception. Decide up front what you want covered and figure the extra hours into the overall price. Also, pay close attention to the final package you receive. How many different albums are available?. Will you receive digital copies of the photos?. Be sure to include all of this into the cost for comparison.

Tip 4.
If a photographer has a website, chances are he will also have a blog you can read. If there are many posts on the blog about recent jobs you will have a pretty good idea about the quality of work being produced by all the business he is receiving.
