Perhaps you were one of the little children in flashy sneakers on the playground, whether long or not so long ago. And around your wrist, you might have had a little glint whenever you moved your hand. Or even a flashing of gold or silver across your neck that you might have toyed with in curiosity. When you were a child, receiving a little piece of jewelry with your name on it was precious. When you’re young, your name is still so new to you. But as you grow, the wonder tends to die. A person can grow so accustomed to writing their name on essay after essay, or signing endless credit card bills, that the wonder and mystery of a person’s name is gone. It’s a travesty, because a name is the most precious possession a person has. The meaning and origin behind a name can hold such power over the person you become, it seems disastrous to lose sight of your name’s importance. Name pendants may seem like it’s targeted towards a younger crowd. And yet, it can hold even more sentimental value for adults. The longer you spend with your name, the most it becomes a part of you. A tasteful necklace or ring with your name engraved upon it can only add to your self-being and growth. A piece you’ll treasure forever.

There isn’t a lacking of such jewelry in the world. If you already have a special piece of jewelry, why not have your name engraved upon it? Giving someone jewelry with your name on it is also a great gift idea. It can be overwhelming in a store when trying to find jewelry gifts. But giving someone jewelry with their name on it makes it a much more loving and personal gift.
