That’s very sweet. Just get her a card and a frame for her desk. You can note in the card that this will help her transition back to the workplace by bringing a little bit of the baby with her.

Oh – and don’t get her a “thinking of you card” it can be taken out of context. Be sure to get a “Congratulations on your upcoming arrival or congratulations on your newborn”.

I would wait and get her a gift after the baby is born. Possibly a gift card and let her know that it is for incidentals that she may need.

If you think that a gift is too much try a card! Cards say ” I’m thinking of you” without going overboard, ya know?

No don’t buy a gift just yet , get to know her a bit better and ask how the pregnancy’s going. Maybe a present for when the baby is born would be better. Not many guys are interested in this sorta stuff so good on you

If you want to buy her a gift that’s fine you may want to ask her if there was something that was not given to her at the shower that she needs or a gift card to a take out restaurant so when she brings the baby home her husband doesn’t have to worry about cooking and taking care of her at least for one night. You are very thoughtful though.

you can buy her a gift or give her a gift card. After someone has a baby trust me, every little thing helps. She will be happy that you took the time and even thought to go and buy her something.
